3 days of flying over 4 days with 44 pilots making for a social and fun weekend of flying

Shane Tighe wins after the most tag points and the most goals on his Ozone Zeolite XS

Scoring was a culmination of the number of turnpoints tagged plus a declared goal bonus each day which brought some route tactics into play rather than time based racing
.
.
The new format was a blast, encouraging new and different lines and more weather analysis and XC route planning. It also allowed new pilots to get into organised flying alongside experienced pilots going long
.
.
We flew all 3 of the main Canungra area launch sites with an integrated bus retrieve network collecting pilots each day. A return to the famous Beechmont launch on the last day after an absence of 2 years brought a buzz to the crowd in a sign of great things to come
