Tree Safety Kit

8mm Dyneema sewn sling 1.8m long and light aluminium carabiner to secure yourself in the event of a tree landing.  rated to 2.2 tonnes

We recommend looping the sling through one of your main carabiners and stuffing the remainder of the sling with biner attached down the side of your harness.  this way it can be quickly retrieved and the biner adds weight to loop over a tree branch and secure back through the sling.  Most injuries from tree landings arise from falling out of the tree.  Tying yourself off while you assess options is the most important step.  This basic safety kits functions with any harness setup.
